Welcome to IWIDF 2013
amounts of data collected from satellite, airborne, and ground based imaging
systems, image and data fusion techniques are gaining more and more
importance. By the integration of multi-sensor, multi-temporal,
multi-resolution and multi-platform image data, together with geospatial
data, GIS, in-situ, and other statistical data sets, more accurate
information can be obtained to provide for robust operational performance.
This leads to increased confidence, reduced ambiguity and improved
classification to enable evidence based management.
